Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy treatment helps people affected by an injury, illness or disability through movement, exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

At S-Physiotherapy we use a combination of a hand’s on approach and functional rehabilitative techniques to assess and treat the cause of your problem.

Our aim is to reduce pain and improve function with a long-lasting solution to help you manage your injury, illness or disease.

What to expect

The initial assessment will take up to 60 minutes where your physiotherapist will take a detailed history of your problem and any medical issues. An assessment will then be completed to diagnose the cause of the problem followed by treatment; with a plan discussed by you and your physiotherapist to form a treatment plan with goals that you both agree on. You will need to make sure you are in suitable clothing for the assessment, for example if assessing the knee wearing shorts will allow the physiotherapist to treat the area effectively.

Follow up sessions are usually between 30-45 minutes. All equipment for the session will be brought by the physiotherapist.
